• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 13, 1986
The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Chairman Hilt.
Also present were Committee Member DeAngelis and Mayor
Salentine. Ald. Tomczyk was absent.
After considerable discussion on the procedure to be used to
establish a MAC (Minimum Assessment Connection) charge, the
Financial Consultant has been requested to provide four exhibits
for comparison at the April 10, 1986 meeting.
Ill - An exhibit with MAC charge based on preliminary figures
as supplied by Seegar Swanson, Financial Consultant.
#2 - An exhibit with an increased MAC charge and a
reduced front foot charge.
#3 - An exhibit with a MAC charge that differentiates
between existing and new service with a front foot
assessment
#4 - An exhibit showing MAC charge only (no front foot
assessment)
The City Engineers are requested to establish a water service
• area to be served by the new 250,000 gallon water tower.
The request for water service for Guernsey Meadow Subdivision was
deferred.
The Committee reviewed correspondence from the City Engineers of
March 6, 1986, which indicated that the construction of the water
tower will be completed by March 30 and the painting is presently
scheduled to begin during the month of May.
The Common Council has authorized plans to be prepared for
service from Industrial Park to Crowbar Road and a survey is
being conducted by the Engineers to determine the placement of
the lateral.
The Committee noted that Ordinance #543 (Water Utility) was
deferred back to Committee for review and the Committee is
recommending that Section 28.05(f)(4) be deleted from the
ordinance.
The Committee acknowledged receipt of the amended Agreement from
Waste Management and placed it on file.
The meeting adjourned at 8:50 P.M.
