PWAM19860102• PUBLIC WATER COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 2, 1986 The meeting was called to order at 7 00 P.M. by Chairman Hilt. Also present were Committee Members Tomczyk and DeAngelis, Mayor Salentine, Building Inspector Lee, City Engineer Ken Ward and Financial Consultant Seegar Swanson. The Committee discussed proposed Water Utility ordinance and how Reserve Capacity Assessments can be computed or determined, when these assessments are payable and cost of front foot assessments. Building Inspector Lee asked if the RCA fee would include the cost of the meter. Mr. Ward said the meter is the responsibility of the Utility and the Utility would charge for meters. Because of past experience, Mr. Lee suggested the meters be replaced or recalibrated every year or two. The Committee discussed temporary charges to be used until the Public Service Commission determines a true charge. Seegar Swanson stated that Conley, Sprague & McDonald could calculate the temporary charges and the Utility could make adjustments after the PSC determines the correct fee. is tank. Committee discussed the exterior finish color of the storage tank. Aqua Sky (Blue) was selected for the finish color with black lettering. The lettering facing a northerly direction, towards State Highway 24 and Racine Avenue, and the backside facing a southerly direction. The meeting adjourned at 9:35 P.M. Respectfully submitted, Ald.
