PWAM19860102• PUBLIC WATER COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 2, 1986
The meeting was called to order at 7 00 P.M. by Chairman Hilt.
Also present were Committee Members Tomczyk and DeAngelis, Mayor
Salentine, Building Inspector Lee, City Engineer Ken Ward and
Financial Consultant Seegar Swanson.
The Committee discussed proposed Water Utility ordinance and how
Reserve Capacity Assessments can be computed or determined, when
these assessments are payable and cost of front foot assessments.
Building Inspector Lee asked if the RCA fee would include the
cost of the meter. Mr. Ward said the meter is the responsibility
of the Utility and the Utility would charge for meters. Because
of past experience, Mr. Lee suggested the meters be replaced or
recalibrated every year or two.
The Committee discussed temporary charges to be used until the
Public Service Commission determines a true charge. Seegar
Swanson stated that Conley, Sprague & McDonald could calculate
the temporary charges and the Utility could make adjustments
after the PSC determines the correct fee.
