MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 2, 1985
The meeting was called to order at 8:40 P.M. by Chairman Hilt.
Also present were Committee Members Tomczyk and DeAngelis, and
Mayor Salentine.
Mr. Ted Paschke, representing Villa del Rio apartments, appeared
before the Committee to investigate the availability of future
water service. The Committee informed Mr. Paschke that the City
would be receptive to supplying water to the development and they
would be contacted after specifics were worked out.
The Committee reviewed DNR report on plans and specficiations for
construction of elevated water storage tank and placed on file.
The Committee reviewed the Public Service Commission approval and
recommends that the City Engineer react to #3 of the order for
timetable.
The Committee reviewed the 2nd draft of proposed Water Utility
Ordinance and recommends first reading at council.
The Committee recommends that the Common Council authorize the
• City Engineers to prepare plans and specifications and proceed in
bidding water main installation. A list of all property owners
on Highway 24 from Racine Avenue to Lannon Drive will be obtained
in order to set an informational meeting regarding City water.
The meeting adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
