MINUTES OF MEETING HELD WEDNESDAY, MAY 10, 1995
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 P.M. by Chairman
Patterson. Also present were Committee Members Salentine and
Suhr, Mayor DeAngelis, Public Works Superintendent John Loughney
and Cable Club Representative Jeff Jones.
The meeting was posted on 5/8/95 in accordance with the Open
Meeting Law.
The Committee discussed status of Recycling. Supt. Loughney
addressed the Committee on status of Recycling/Refuse program and
Mayor De Angelis addressed concerns about the possible loss of
State funding for Recycling efforts. Committee discussed status
of BFI's Recycling Program.
Mr. Jeff Jones appeared before the Committee to discuss the
actions necessary to provide cable service to the Aldermen's
Room. The Committee directed Recreation Director Gordon Jacobson
to proceed with purchase order to secure parts for the cabling for
the Aldermen's Room per list submitted by Jeff Jones. Discussion
ensued regarding possible future Cable Club activities.
Mayor De Angeles updated the Committee on status of Landfill
Agreements. Payment concerns with Emerald Park Landfill have been
resolved. Drainage ditch at Emerald Park site is still in need of
dredging and DNR permit has not been received. Emerald Park will
be cooperating with Briggs & Stratton (Future Parkland) for
installation of forcemain segment. Stoneridge Landfill action is
still pending.
Mayor De Angelis addressed Committee regarding PRP status of the
East Troy Landfill claim.
The Committee further discussed Refuse/Recycling permit for the
Glockner residence and noted that a site inspection is planned for
June.
