MINUTES OF MEETING HELD WEDNESDAY, MARCH 10, 1993
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Patterson. Also present were Committee Member Schneider and
Mr. Bill Tarman-Ramcheck (REC Systems of Wisconsin, Inc.).
Mr. Ramcheck appeared before the Committee and gave a
presentation of his company's recycling services, containers
and products.
The Committee discussed Recycling and request that
Superintendent Loughney research possible Waukesha County grant
monies for anti freeze recycling tank.
The Committee reviewed correspondence sent to Warner Cable
Communications regarding the payment for leased land in the
amount of $500.00 that was due on March 1, 1993, and request
that the Committee receive an update for their April 14, 1993
meeting.
The Committee request that a letter be sent to Warner Cable
expressing the Committee's unhappiness with the cable company's
intent not to renew the lease on their Muskego office building
• and their anticipated consolidation into their Greenfield
office.
Chairman Patterson advised that Waste Management has requested
a meeting be scheduled for April to discuss recycling.
The Committee requests that the City Clerk further research
steps that need to be taken and costs involved for including
words about the 1993 costs for solid waste collection and
disposal on the 1993 tax bill payable in 1994.
The meeting adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
