PWM19891213. PUBLIC WELFARE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 13, 1989
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Patterson. Also present were Committee Member Dumke and Mr. Reid
Ingersoll (Ingersoll Cable Company).
Mr. Ingersoll advised the Committee that the Loomis Road area
will be connected to Cable by January 15, 1990.
The Franchise fee for the first half of 1989 has been received
and the City Clerk has billed Ingersoll Cable for the 12% late
interest due, per the Cable Ordinance.
Mr. Ingersoll inquired as to when the $20,000 Road Bond and the
$50,000 Performance Bond will be released and also if the cash
bonds are in an interest bearing account and will he receive the
interest. The Committee directed the City Clerk to contact Mr.
Ingersoll to discuss all of the above.
The Committee discussed the maintenance and/or replacement of
Cable TV access equipment. Mr. Ingersoll requested receiving a
copy of Resolution #243-84 and he advised that he will contact
the Recreation Supervisor regarding condition of present
• equipment.
The Committee discussed Recycling effort. It was noted that, at
the present time, there is no organization scheduled for January
1990.
The first Youth Activity event is scheduled for Saturday, January
6, 1990, at Muskego High School. The Ad Hoc Committee is meeting
on Thursday, December 14, 1989, to finalize this event.
The Committee discussed composting.
The meeting adjourned at 8:00 P.M.
