MINUTES
OF MEETING HELD AUGUST
3,
1989
The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Chairman
Patterson. Also in attendance were Committee Members Simmons and
Dumke, Ald. Taube, Ald. D. Sanders and Mayor Salentine.
The Committee reviewed status of Cable TV. Unburied cable still
is a problem. Cable has still not been installed on Muskego Dam

Cable Company on any unburied cable. Discussion was also held on
Woods Road and Durham Drive regarding restoration of property
after cable installation. The Committee directed that Ingersoll
Cable be requested to provide written communication regarding the
above concerns.
Mayor Salentine and Alderman Dumke advised that they met with
Governor Thompson's assistant, Senator Adelman and Representative
Lepak and other state representatives to discuss landfill
legislation. It was noted that the League of Municipalities
voted in favor of Muskego's position.
The Committee discussed recycling and reviewed monthly press
release which indicated new hours of 8:00 A.M. to Noon. Ald.
Patterson read a letter that is being sent to Parkland Mall to
thank them for the use of their premises.
Alderman Patterson advised the Committee that the Youth Activity
questionnaire has been mailed to the High School students with
their school information packet for registration day.
