MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 18, 1988
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 P.M. by Chairman
Patterson. Also present were Committee Members Penovich, and
Taube, Mayor Salentine, Ald. DeAngelis and those per the attached
list.
The Committee reviewed Cable TV status with John Ingersoll.
Various minor problems have been corrected. Discussion took
place regarding a petition circulated by members of St. Leonard
Parish in reference to addition of "Eternal World", a religious
channel. Mr. Ingersoll stated that he was in contact with the
group and would inform the Committee of any decision.
The Committee discussed recycling with Karen Fiedler, Waukesha
County Recycling Coordinator. Ms. Fiedler described various
recycling programs which Waukesha County would participate in
with interested communities. Discussion also took place with
representatives on specfications for waste containers at Muskego
Landfill.
The Committee decided to further investigate a community
• recycling program. Chairman Patterson will meet with
representatives of Waste Management to determine needs. Ms.
Fielder will be invited back to a Public Welfare Committee
meeting to present additional information on projected volumes.
Mr. Jeff Gottfried, representing the Little Muskego Lake
Association, stated that the Association would be interested in
coordinating community groups to participate in the Recycling
Program.
The meeting adjourned at 8:28 P.M.
