MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 7, 1988
The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Chairman
Patterson. Also present were Committee Members Taube and
Penovich, Ald. DeAngelis, Acting Mayor Dumke, representatives of
Waste Management and John Ingersoll.
The Committee discussed Extension of Contract and Permit for
Muskego Landfill site with representatives from Waste Management.
Waste Management has agreed to provide five metal containers with
covers to collect glass, cans, aluminum and paper. The cans will
be the variety of which can easily be picked up by recycling
trucks. The Committee discussed fees and length of free dumping
for Muskego residents. Ald. Taube moved to schedule a special
Public Welfare Meeting, prior to the Public Hearing on Tuesday,
January 19, 1988, with a Closed Session, in order to further
discuss items in the contract which have not been agreed upon.
Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried.
Mr. John Ingersoll, Ingersoll Cable Company, appeared before the
Committee on status of installation of cable in southeast and
southwest portions of Muskego. The southwest section has been
• completed and work on southeast portion is scheduled to begin in
October of 1988 and be completed by February 1989.
Picture and sound quality problems will soon be corrected as
money is received from damage done during the City's water main
installation.
The meeting adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
