MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 6, 1987
The meeting was called to order at 7:15 P.M. by Chairman
Patterson. Also present was Committee Member Taube. Ald.
Penovich was absent.
Mr. John Ingersoll was unable to attend to update Committee on
status of Cable TV.
Ald. Patterson reported to the Committee that Mr. Ingersoll is
proposing to send emergency telephone stickers to all property
owners in the City and inquired as to whether he might possibly
use the City's bulk postage rate. The Committee feels the
stickers are an excellent idea but cannot recommend using City's
bulk postage rate due to legality and setting negative precedent.
The Committee reviewed correspondence received from Parks
Supervisor Theis stating that only nine lake access parcels are
under the jurisdiction of the Parks and Recreation Board and
requesting that the list be updated to include all of the
parcels, if it it still the City's intention for the Board to
control them. Ald. Taube moved to recommend additional parcels
• be placed under the jurisdiction of the Parks & Recreation
Board. Seconded by Ald. Patterson, motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 7:30 P.M.
