MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 4, 1986
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 P.M. by Chairman
Patterson. Also present were Committee Members Taube and
DeAngelis, Mayor Salentine, Mr. Norm Dubuc (Ingersoll Cable Co.),
Mrs. Karen Hartwell and Mr. John Glockner.
Mrs. Karen Hartwell has voiced a complaint that she was never
given a written notice of the rate increase for cable TV
service. Mr. Dubuc stated that by law, Ingersoll Cable does not
have to inform subscribers of anticipated rate increases, but
agreed that all subscribers will be notified of any future rate
increases. Mr. Dubuc will contact Mrs. Hartwell to resolve the
problem.
The monthly service logs will not have to be given to the City by
Ingersoll Cable Co., but the City reserves the right to request
their remittance.
The Committee discussed with Mr. Dubuc the anticipated matching
of funds for the 3% of the $3.00 increase from March 1986 thru
December 1986, which is due to the City by December 31, 1986.
Mr. Dubuc stated that the City will receive a check for the
• matching funds for March 1986 thru November 1986 by December 31,
1986, with December's payment to be received by the end of
January, 1987.
Mr. John Glockner appeared before the Committee to discuss
extraction permit. Mr. Glockner has petitioned for a Conditional
Use Grant and a public hearing has been scheduled for January 6,
1987. Mr. Glockner has complied with the Committee's concerns.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on
file.
The meeting adjourned at 7:42 P.M.
