PWM19851017• PUBLIC WELFARE MINUTES - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 17, 1985
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman Ralph
Tomczyk. Also present were Committee Members Hilt and DeAngelis,
Norman DuBuc, Thomas Wing, Jackie Schweitzer and David Warhanek.
Minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file.
Norman DuBuc, Ingersoll Cable Co., briefed the Committee on
various locations where payment boxes have been installed in
Muskego; for example, First Wisconsin Bank, and Fischer Beer
Depot. He also reported on damage incurred on Sandy Beach Road
through recent construction. The next extension of the cable
system will be installed on (east) Kelsey Drive.
Ald. DeAngelis reported a cable problem at S103 W20823 Heather
Drive (679-1944), where cable has been installed on the personal
property without permission of the owner who wishes to have it
removed and placed in the easement. This is a feeder cable for
the Lake Meadows Subdivision. Ald. Tomczyk will view the problem
with Norman DuBuc, Ingersoll Cable Co.
Jackie Schweitzer, Recreation Supervisor, reviewed the status of
• the Public Access Channel with the Committee. She indicated that
the Cable Club felt that there was cable equipment needed to
adequately tape community programs. Equipment necessary is a 13"
color monitor, a character generator, a portable recorder and a
case for the camera.
Also, discussed was whose responsibility it was to schedule
programs to be shown on the Public Access Channel. Chairman
Tomczyk indicated that any program wanting to be placed on the
Community Access Channel must either be approved by the Mayor or
the Public Welfare Chairman.
Financing acquisition of necessary equipment was also
discussed. Norm DuBuc agreed that Ingersoll Cable would provide
a monitor and the carrying case.
Norman DuBuc also discussed other cable problems such as
restoration of lawns, driveways, etc.
Respectfully submitted,
Ald. Frank DeAngelis
Secretary
