PWM19850613PUBLIC WELFARE MINUTES - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 13, 1985 • The meeting was called to order by Chairman Tomczyk at 7:00 P.M. Also present were Committee Members Hilt and DeAngelis, Mayor Salentine, John Ingersoll and Norman Dubuc of Ingersoll, Inc., Dorrin Pack of Muskego Sun and Julie Sneider of Waukesha Freeman. The Committee discussed Cable TV Status and Communications. John Ingeroll gave an updated report on Cable progress in the City of Muskego. He explained the move to New Berlin and informed the Committee that Open Pantry, Muskego Beer Depot and First Wisconsin Bank have the Cable TV Guide books available to the public. Mr. Ingersoll stated that he will be stringing the wires for the Muskego School system from Bay Lane School to Muskego High School for their computers. He also stated that the switch over from the TV trailer to a permanent building behind the Police Department will be done on Monday, June 17, 1985 at 12:00 A.M. to Tuesday at 12:00 P.M. The Parks and Recreation Board will determine where the wire from the Historical Society is to be placed connecting the Old Settlement building to the City Hall. The Historical Society will furnish wire for this job. The Committee informed Mr. Ingersoll that he is in violation of the Cable Ordinance by not having an Office in Muskego. Mr. Ingersoll was directed to report on progress of locating in the City of Muskego by the next Public Welfare meeting. The Committee reviewed the Memorandum of Understanding submitted • by Waste Management in regard to the proposed Water Utility. Ald. Hilt moved to direct the City Attorney to incorporate into the Memorandum of Understanding the necessary changes that were reviewed. Seconded by Ald. DeAngelis, motion carried. The Committee reviewed the Water Utility Ordinance and deferred action until after the Public Service Commission hearing on June 27, 1985. The Committee reviewed the DNR water test results from properties around the Muskego Landfill. The Committee discussed proposed regulations on pornography. Ald. DeAngelis moved to defer. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk, motion carried. The Committee reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting and placed on file. The meeting adjourned at 8:15 P.M. Respectfully submitted, Ald.
