PWM19850410• PUBLIC WELFARE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 10, 1985 The meeting was called to order by Acting Chairman Hilt at 7:03 P.M. Also present was Committee Member Gaetzke, Mayor Salentine, Ald. DeAngelis, John Ingersoll and Dave Taube. Ald. Tomczyk was absent. The Committee reviewed the Cable TV Status Report with John Ingersoll. Restoration of project is continuing. Woods Road and Hillendale are complete. The Boxhorn area will be started next month. There is one restoration crew working in the City. Mr. Ingersoll requested approval of the Assignment Of Franchise as collateral security. The Committee acknowledged this request and will send to the City Attorney for review and recommendation. Mr. Ingersoll also requests the City consider reducing his Performance Bond of $50,000.00 when he completes the building in the Old Muskego Settlement Centre. The Committee discussed the Water Utility and the formation of a water commission or committee. The Committee agreed to instruct the City Engineers to prepare the plans, specifications, bids, Award of Contracts, and construction of mains for the Industrial • Park expansion to include the Water Tower. The Committee will directthe City Attorney to draft an ordinance to establish a three man sub -committee of the Council to manage the Water Utility.
