MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 21, 1985
Information Hearing on Proposed Water Utility was called to order
by Chairman Tomczyk at 8:10 P.M. Also present were Committee
Members Gaetzke and Hilt, Ald. DeAngelis, Ald. Penovich, Ald.
Dumke, Mayor Salentine, Attorney Molter, Seegar Swanson, Michael
Mooney and Ken Ward from Ruekert & Mielke.
Attorney Molter gave a presentation of the legal aspects of the
proposed creation of the Water Utility.
Financial Consultant Seegar Swanson presented the steps necessary
to establish the Water Utility.
Ken Ward from the City Engineer's office explained how and when
the proposed Water Utility would be installed.
Michael Mooney, the City's broker for the Industrial Park,
explained how the proposed Water Utility would affect the
Industrial Park and the advantages of having adequate water.
The floor was then opened to questions from those in attendance.
