MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 17, 1984
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Tomczyk at
7:00 P.M. Also present were Committee Members Gaetzke and
Hilt, Ald. DeAngelis, Supt. Bertram, Mayor Salentine and those
per the attached list.
The Committee discussed the contract with Waste Management.
Waste Management is asking that the renewal contract cover the
remaining life of the disposal site, rather than a specified
time. They estimate the life to be between two and three
years. Discussion will continue at the next meeting.
The Committee reviewed Ingersoll's Cable TV Status Report dated
May 15, 1984. Supt. Bertram expressed concern on how Ingersoll
Cable has laid the TV cable along the roads and in ditches.
The Committee agreed to have the Public Works Department
control the problem of where the cable is laid.
The Committee discussed the cost of providing Municipal Water
in the Industrial Park. The City Attorney will research after
staff provides copies of documents to him. The committee
deferred until the next meeting.
The Committee reviewed the Cable TV Citizens Committee's
recommendation to replace Channel FNN (Finance News Network)
with CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network). Ald. Hilt moved to
permit the change from FNN to CBN. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk,
motion carried.
The Committee discussed the Guidelines for Waukesha County
Communities for Application for Recycling Funds. Chairman
Tomczyk moved to Table this project until after a contract with
Waste Management is in place. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion
carried.
The Committee reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 8:01 P.M.
