MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 9, 1981
The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Chairman Radtke.
Also present were Committee Members Steinberg and Penovich, Ald.
}}(( Knudsen, Mayor Gottfried, Dr. Stroud and Jim Shinners of RVS.
I16 The committee reviewed a letter from City Attorney Molter containing
suggested changes to the proposed Cable TV Ordinance which were
considered with Dr. Stroud. Upon his recommendation the necessary
changes were made.
Considerable discussion took place regarding extending the service
below the 7900 line. The committee determined that this matter
would be decided during future negotiations.
It was the decision of the committee at this time, not to include
the following paragraph in the ordinance, "A landlord should not
be able to deny service to a tenant in an area served by cable TV"
Ald. Steinberg moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Penovich. Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 9 00 P.M.
