MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 27, 1981
The meeting was called to order at 7 31 P.M. by Chairman Radtke.
Also present were Committee Members Steinberg and Penovich, Mr. Jim
J Shinners of RVS, Chuck Boerner of Muskego-Norway School System, Mr.
Dick Steffen of RVS, Dr. Stroud, Ald. Knudsen and Mayor Gottfried.
Dr. Stroud outlined and commented on the RVS proposal. Considerable
discussion took place regarding the proposal by RVS and Dr. Stroud's
comments.
Mr. Chuck Boerner discussed the concerns of the Muskego-Norway School
System with the representatives from RVS.
It was the committee's decision to have Dr. Stroud take one more look
at the city's proposed ordinance and to make any revisions discussed
at this meeting. The school board will also tour the RVS facility
in September and discuss their finds at the next Welfare Committee
meeting.
Action was deferred until the next meeting on discussion of refuse
disposal.

agreement

The committee will discuss the city's attorney's opinion regarding
tire disposal at the next meeting.
Communication from Waste Management of Wisconsin regarding volume of
waste received by the City of Muskego for the 1st and 2nd quarters.
Same placed on file.
The private light on Lentini Drive was discussed. Gerald Lee is
following up on the status of placing a shield on the light. }
Ald. Steinberg moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Penovich. Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 10.31 P.M.
