MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 21, 1980 (SPECIAL MEETING)
The meeting was called to order at 7:04 P.M.
Present: Chairman Weed, Ald. Steinberg, Ald. Van Lanen, Mayor
Gottfried, Ald. Knudsen, Ald. Salentine and Building Inspector Lee.
Ald. Roy Nabors, Chairman of the Utilities and Licensing Committee,
City of Milwaukee, and Dr Stroud, consultant to the City of Milwaukee
on Cable TV, at the request of Chairman Weed, appeared to discuss
the positives and negatives of cable television for the City of
Muskego.
The general message received from the guests was that an informed
citizenry is the best guarantee during the implementation of a
Cable TV Ordinance.
Ald. Nabors indicated that the Aldermen and Mayor must be "watchdogs"
of the community to insure that the citizens receive the best
produce and service for their money.
The meeting ended at 8:00 P.M.
