MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 20, 1979
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Weed at 8:30 P.M. Also
present were Committee Members Tomczyk and Van Lanen, Ald. Dumke
and Mayor Gottfried.
Mr. Walters, representing Skycom gave a demonstration regarding cable
TV. He indicated the following charges would be as follows: Installat-
ion - One time charge $20.00 and $7.50 per month,Home TV $8.00 per
month, City to receive 3%.
Mr. Walter will send a sample ordinance that Muskego could use as a
guideline for developing a program of cable television for the City.
Several persons attended the meeting relative to the Tudor Oaks
organization. Mayor Gottfried clarified the position of the City's
at the time the developers agreement was executed and specifically
discussed the trust set-up by Tudor Oaks. Mayor Gottfried also
advised the committee that since there is pending litigation involving
Covenant Living Center Inc., and whatever problems some of the
residents feel they have, might be resolved through the court's decision.
• Ald. Van Lanen questioned if anything had ever become of the senior
citizen "hot line". The committee directed Mayor Gottfried to review
the past minutes and to inform the committee what has transpired.
The Mayor advised the committee that he would provide them with a list
of services and programs presently available for senior citizens
through the city as well as the county.
Ald. Weed moved to adjourn, motion seconded by Ald. Van Lanen and
motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
