MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 7, 1978
• The meeting was called to order at 7:09 P.M. by Chairman Ford. Also
present were Aldermen Schaumberg, Van Lanen and Mayor Gottfried.
Ald. Schaumberg was appointed secretary of the committee.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed
on file.
Following discussion it was the committee's decision to meet once
a month and to hold a special meeting in the event it is needed.
Chairman Ford advised the committee that the question of a public
nuisance relating to the one Down Disco located at the corner of
Bay Lane and Highway 24 will be discussed at the next meeting if
the individuals involved appear.
Mayor Gottfried suggested that the committee review the status of
the contract between the city and Waste Management and Carl &
• Lydia Wauer and further that future plans for disposal of rubbish
and waste for city residents should be considered. The committee
directed Mayor Gottfried to provide them with a copy of the
existing agreement in order that the matter can be reviewed at a
future meeting.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Ford, motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 7-45 P.M.
