PWM19761215PUBLIC WELFARE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 15, 1976 The meeting was called to order by Acting Chairman Dumke at 7:10 P.M. Also present were Aldermen Constantineau and Pienkos, Building Inspector Lee, Mr. Tom Roberts, 9335 S. 94th St., Franklin, Mayor Jerome Gottfried and Mr. Ralph P. Kulas, S70 W14951 Cornell Circle, Muskego. Mr. Tom Roberts appeared before the committee to discuss the condemning of two garages located on Hillside Drive (Block 3, Lots 10 and 11). Mr. Roberts wants to build a new home across the street on Hillside Drive (Block 4, Lots 10 and 11) and cannot get a builder to help him build the home unless the property with garages on it is improved. The committee discussed at length the possible ramifications of Mr. Robert's request and decided to allow the Building Inspector to use his judgment in condemning of properties since this power is within his department. Mr. Ralph Kulas appeared before the committee to discuss the $500.00 sewer ,•availability charge that was recently passed by the Common Council. After long discussion we were forced to inform Mr. Kulas that at this time the city could make no exceptions to the $500.00 sewer availability charge. The committee also received correspondence from Mr. Kulas. Building Inspector Lee apprised the committee of the sign owned by Harry Krase located at S77 W18212 Janesville Road and the existing violation. The Inspection Department will follow through to gain compliance with the city's ordinance. Building Inspector Lee has informed the committee that he will void the permit for American College based on Section 30.06 of the Municipal Code. The Welfare Committee recommended to the Sewer Committee that the 96 sewered units for the American College be withdrawn. Ald. Pienkos requested the committee to view a school bus that has been' renovated into a camper (recreational vehicle) on Tennyson Lane in the First Ward.
