• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 13, 1976
The meeting was called to order by Acting Chairman Constantineau at
7:30 P.M. Also present was Alderman Pienkos.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file.
The committee is awaiting communications from the Wisconsin Department
of Natural Resources concerning the monitoring of sound levels for the
Boxhorn Big Muskego Gun Club. Thus far possible contacts have been
made by the committee to Madison, University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee
Engineering Department and the Environmental Protection Agency in
Chicago. Also, the committee has reviewed and placed on file information
on licenses and ordinances concerning the gun club.
The committee is awaiting action on possible zoning violations in
Ward I from Zoning Officer Lee. Also, Ald. Pienkos requests a copy
of action taken by his department.
The committee has contacted Mr. Frank Schultz of the D. N. R. concerning
the odor problem at the Muskego Rendering Plant. Mr. Schultz advised
that while he cannot do anything personally he would contact Mr. Robert
• Reddovich of the D.I.R., Air Pollution Division, and have him institute
an "odor survey" (a survey that is conducted among people surrounding
a specific area). After the survey is completed a recommendation will
be made by the D.N.R.
Ald. Constantineau moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Pienkos. Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:00 P.M.
