MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 11, 1975
Meeting was called to order by Chairman Knudsen a 7:00 P.M. Also
present were Aldermen Wallner and Foldy.
Mr. William Retzlaff of State Said and Gravel appeared to discuss
• the adequacy of the present restoration bond of $757000.00.
Committee will consult with Ruekert & Mielke regarding raising the
bond to $100,000.00 to take care of inflation. Possibility of a
2-year term was discussed. Control of truck noise and speeds
were reviewed.'
Mr. Carl Wauer will attend the next meeting to discuss the use of
the old rendering plant.
Waste Management representatives will attend next meeting to review
progress of land fill operations. Deputy Clerk is requested to provide <
copy of Waste Management land fill agreement to Welfare Committee.
Ald. Knudsen moved that future request for holding tanks 4! made through
the Zoning Officer who is sure that necessary forms, bonds and his
recommendation with drawing or sketches be submitted to the Council
in the form of a resolution for council approval. Resolution to
•be by the Mayor or Chairman of Welfare Committee. Seconded by Ald.
Wallner, motion Carried.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:20 P.M.
