• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 4, 1974
The meeting was called to order at 9:45 P.M. Present were Aldermen
Knudsen and Wallner and Mayor Gottfried.
The Committee reviewed the reports of the Building Code and Zoning
Code violations as submitted by Inspector Gerald Lee.
• Communications were received and placed on file.
The committee discussed the request of Mr. Norman Thomas for a solid
non-combustible landfill Permit on 16.25 acres located at the southwest
corners of Tans Drive and Hillendale Drive. The committee also reviewed
a letter received from the Department of Natural Resources which indicated
all necessary requirements have been received and formal approval would
be forthcoming from their department. Aid. Knudsen moved to refer the
Thomas petition, along with the DNRts formal approval, to the Plan
Commission as provided in Ordinance #194. Seconded by Aid. Wallner,
motion carried.
The committee directed the Mayor to send a communication to the Plan
Commission urging that another public hearing be held regarding this
matter. Mayor Gottfried will also contact the DNR for a conv of the
formal approval.
•Aid. Knudsen moved, seconded by Aid. Wallner, that Mayor Gottfried be
directed to contact the Little Muskego Lake Association requesting that
they determine whether or not the property owners around or near the
lake would be willing to form an assessment district for the purpose
of removing weeds from the lake should it be necessary. They will also
be requested to report their findings to the Welfare Committee.
Motion carried.
The committee reviewed rules and regulations which might be applicable
for the use of city hall facilities by non -governmental interests.
Aid. Knudsen will prepare a sample application to be presented at the
committeets next meeting.
Aid. Wallner moved to adjourn, seconded by Aid. Knudsen, motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 10:30 P.M.
