MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 17, 1974
Chairman Ford called the meeting to order at 7:20 P.M. Also present
were Aldermen Wallner, Knudsen, Foldy and Czarnecki and Mayor Gottfried.
• The committee discussed at length the former gravel pit at Tans Drive
and Hillendale Drive. Ald. Ford agreed to contact the owner,Mr. Norman
Thomas, by phone before the next meeting to get assurance that Mr.
Thomas is proceeding to re -apply for a landfill permit.

The committee agreed to invite Building Inspector Lee to its next
meeting for a further discussion of the operation of his department
and to discuss the Hallada, Moritz and Couture problems.
Correspondence was reviewed and placed on file.
Ald. Knudsen moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Wallner. Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:30 P.M.
