• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 3, 1973
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Ford at 8:45 P.M. Also
present were Aldermen Knudsen, Wallner and Czarnecki and Mayor
Gottfried.
Mr, and Mrs. Norman Thomas and Mr. Tim Krueger of the Department of
• Natural Resources, appeared at the meeting to discuss the progress
of the Thomas's request for a Landfill Permit at the former Gravel, Inc.
site at the corner of Tans Dr. and Hillendale Dr. What the Thomass'
are requesting to use as fill would require a Sanitary Landfill Permit
which would need approval of the DNR. If a permit is approved by the
DNR, the City of Muskego could still restrict the types of material
to be used as fill as provided for in Resolution #3-73, As Amended.
Ald. Knudsen will help the Thomas's gather information regarding the
wells in the area.
Mayor Gottfried to correspond with Waste Management indicating the
concern of the Public Welfare Committee regarding the citizens of
Muskego being directed onto the landfill site and being exposed to
the possibility of getting cut fires and other safety hazards. Also
to contact them regarding the possibility of the city being co-insured -
basic information.
The Hallada property on Janesville Road to be reviewed by Gerald Lee.

excavation on Larkspur Rd.
To Cade Construction, Inc. from Gerald Lee, dated 4/23/73, regarding
a basement at W185 S7652 Lincoln Dr.
To City Attorney Buckley from Ass't Building Inspector Daniel Nowak,
dated 4/17/73, regarding a dwelling being used as a duplex on Jewel
Crest Drive.
• To Clarence Treptow from Daniel Nowak, dated 4/13/73 regarding a sign
violation.
To Ray Gray of Rite Realty Corp, from Gerald Lee, dated 4/16/73, re-
garding drainage ditch of Kurthwood.
To Willard Masterson from Dan Nowak, dated 4/13/73, regarding equipment
and debris stored on his property/
To Ed Zidar from Dan Nowak, dated 4/13/73, regarding equipment stored
north of the Drive -In on Janesville Rd.
