• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 5, 1973
The meeting was called to order at 7:15 P.M. by Chairman Dumke. Also
present were Mayor Gottfried, Aldermen Foldy, Ford, Knudsen and Cole and
Ald. Elect Ray Wallner.
Mr. and Mrs. George Kostka and Mr. Melvin Daliege appeared individually
to discuss the possibility of the city obtaining the use of their property
as deposit sites for the Dredging Project. The cityas well as the parties
involved, will give the matter further consideration.
Ald. Knudsen moved to recommend to the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee,
a revision in the Garbage Hauling Ordinance to require yearly decals for
better truck identification and a review of the present fees. Seconded
by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
Mayor Gottfried will contact Best Disposal for a clear statement as to
the types of material being hauled and the area from which it is being
hauled.
Ald. Foldy questioned the status of Attorney Buckley's action against
John Couture as it relates to the occupancy of his office building on
•Janesville Road without an Occupancy Permit. Mayor Gottfried will
contact Attorney Buckley for a status report.
Ald. Foldy reported on a nuisance at the former septic tank works on
Janesville Road. The committee will request a report from Building
Inspector Lee.
One Condemnation Order and four Building Code violations were reviewed
and placed on file.
Ald. Knudsen moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Cole. Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 9:02 P.M.
