PWM19721002• PUBLIC WELFARE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 2, 1972 The meeting was called to order by Chairman $lumke at 7:30 P.M. Also present were Aldermen Knudsen and Mayor Gottfried. Minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file. If Junk car violations and Temporary Occupancy Reports were received from Gerald Lee. The proposed letter to the citizens of the community regarding dogs running at large and junked cars out of service was reviewed. Ald. Knudsen moved that the letter be prepared for mailing. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. Ald. Knudsen advised the committee that he has received several complaints from residents in the area of the former Wentland gravel pit regarding the discharging of firearms and the use of mini -bikes. The committee discussed the Council's action on Resolution #192-72, • pertaining to the Wauer Landfill, Inc. An effort will be made to provide the aldermen with as many alternate solutions as possible and the costs involved. It was felt this would help in determining the final resolution of the problem.
