• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 6, 1972
The meeting was called to order at 9:05 P.M. by Chairman Dumke. Also
present were Mayor Gottfried, Aldermen Cole, Foldy and Knudsen.
The minutes of the previous meeting held on August 17, 1972, were re-
viewed "and placed on file.
--Io A letter has been received from the Governor's Recycling Task Force
requesting information from the City on any plans or activity regarding
the recycling of solid wastes. A letter will be directed to the Task Force.
One (1) Junked Car violation was reviewed and placed on file.
Several citizens have requested the City control the number of traps
allowed at any one trap shooting range. The Committee is awaiting an
opinion from the City Attorney.
Mr. Herb Ripley has directed a letter to the management of the Highway "24"
Drive -In Theatre, advising them that corrdctions in their sewerage disposal
system was necessary.
• Aid. Dumke moved to recommend that the Council take the necessary action
to eliminate picnicing and swimming on the fire lane at the end of Park
Drive and to install "No Parking" signs on Park Dr. and Lake Dr. Seconded
by Aid. Cole. Motion carried.

Aid. Knudsen moved to recommend that the Council adopt Resolution #143-72
with the following amendment: "That the hours of operation be limited
to 6:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M., Monday through Saturday, and that any extension
of those hours would require special consideration of the Council. Seconded
by Aid. Cole. Motion carried.
Aid. Knudsen moved to recommend that the Council adopt Resolution #130-72
subject to owners submitting a new restoration plan calling for restoration
other than land fill and that the area be physically delineated by some
type of marker. Seconded by Aid. Dumke. Motion carried.
Aid. Cole moved to adjourn. Seconded by Aid. Knudsen. Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 11:15 P.M.
