PWM19720705PUBLIC WELFARE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 55 1972 • The meeting was called to order at 9:40 P.M. by Chairman Dumke. Also present were Aldermen Foldy, Knudsen and Sapp., Mayor Gottfried and Building Inspector Lee. ` - The minutes of the previous meeting held on June 15, 1972, were reviewed and placed on file. • Nine (9) Junked Car violations were reviewed and placed on file. Ten (10) Zoning Code violations were reviewed and placed on file. Ald. Sapp reported on complaints by the residents in the area of Lake Dr. and Park Dr, regarding the 40 ft.- lot at the end of Park Drive; the com- plaint is that the Welfare Committee closed that access lot three to four years ago and people are again using the area. The Mayor will check the minutes of the past meetings to determine just what action was taken. Mayor Gottfried is drafting a letter to the citizens regarding the Dog and Junked Car Ordinances. It will be submitted to the Committee at the next meeting. The application from Jack Glockner for a Junk Permit was referred to • Zoning Officer Lee and the Plan Commission for their consideration. Gerald Lee reported on several Junk car and Zoning violations that have produced problems. A letter from the Waukesha County Dept. of Health requesting the use of two rooms of the new City Hall, the second Thursday every other month from 9:30 A.M. to 12:00 Noon and on the third Thursday of every month from 1:30 to 4:00 P.M. The Committee felt that we would not be able to accommodate them for the two rooms requested, however, the Mayor will advise them that they could use the unfinished room in the basement. • Ald. Knudsen suggested that the city order the restoration of the Gravel, Inc. pit at the corner of Hillendale Dr. and Tans Dr. The city has a bond for $25,000.00 for this purpose. Ald. Knudsen move that the city take the necessary action immediately. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. The preliminary agreement reached by City Attorney Buckley and Attorney Casgar regarding the proposed Acme-Wauer-City of Muskego Agreement was presented to the Committee which will be reviewed by the Committee members.
