PWM19720615• 0 PUBLIC WELFARE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 15, 1972 The meeting was called to order at 7:06 P.M. by Chairman Dumke. Also present were Aldermen Knudsen, Ford and Sapp and Mayor Gottfried. The minutes of the previous meeting held on May 24, 1972, were reviewed and placed on file. Mr. Herbert Ripley of the Waukesha County Health Department, appeared to discuss possible steps to alleviate the flowage of polluted waters into our city. Water analysis reports for 1971 were reviewed. Mr. Ripley assured the committee that his department will continue to test the water and report to the committee. A request from Robert Hansen, Scoutmaster of Muskego Boy Scouts, for permission to allow the scouts to camp on Holz Island periodically over the summer was discussed. Ald. Ford advised that there is a deed re- striction which does not allow camping. Ald. Sapp moved to deny the request. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried. Four (4) Junk Car violations were reviewed and placed on file. Three (3) Zoning Violations were reviewed and placed on file. Ald. Knudsen suggested that Building Inspector Lee have the junked trailer, etc. on the Gravel, Inc. property towed away. This will require a large tow truck which Mr. James Kohne cannot supply. Ald.
