• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 7, 1972
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Foldy at 7:05 P.M. Also
present were Ald. Schaumberg, Mayor Gottfried, City Clerk Bette Bowyer
and Building Inspector Gerald Lee.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file.
Ald. Schaumberg moved, as seconded by Ald. Foldy, to authorize payment
in the amount of $19,961.30 to Ohio Casualty Company for the completion
of the Ramplex Project (MSS 3-70) The city will withhold $235.00 to
cover the cost of two restoration claims. Motion carried.
Final payment to L & R for Project MSS 8-70 is being held up due to
several liens on the project - City Clerk to contact City Attorney.
Ald. Foldy moved, as seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, to recommend denial
of Gerald Tryban's request for back interest as it has been the city's
policy not to charge or refund back interest. Motion carried
Ald. Schaumberg moved to grant front foot assessment on Lots 33, 32 and 31,
•Mill Valley Unrecorded, owned by Frank Preston, inasmuch as they are held
in single ownership and the sewer was installed on one side of the lots only
The lots had previously been figured as a corner lot assessment.
The committee is awaiting a legal optiion as to the minimum acreage for
deferred assessment.
Mayor Gottfried to correspond with C & C Bohrer regarding the completion
date of the northeast treatment plant.
