• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD ON AUGUST 30, 1971
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Foldy at 7:35 P.M. Also
present were Aldermen DeBack, Schaumberg, Mayor Gottfried and Building
Inspector Lee.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file.
The Committee discussed the condemnation procedures on summer cottages.
It was the decision of the committee to follow the same procedures as
have been used in the past.
Ald. DeBack moved that a 90-day notice be given to the owners of
buildings on Janesville Road in the Parkland Development area and
if same are not removed a recommendation will be made to the Common
Council to advertise for bids for the installation of sewer laterals
to the buildings. Seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried.
The Flora Petzak sewer assessment on Gold Dr. and Jewel Crest Dr.
was reviewed. Ald. Foldy to view the area personally.
Proposed Planned Development on James Parks property between Martin
Dr. and Muskego Drive was discussed. Mayor Gottfried to contact
• Ruekert & Mielke regarding the possible locations as to sewer avail-
ability.
The following correspondence was reviewed:
From L & R Const. Co. regarding barricade service
From L & R Const. Co. regarding damage to G. Gorski property
From A. Revolinski regarding sewer assessments
From Geo. A. Marhefka regarding damage by L & R Const. Co.
Mr. & Mrs. John Illing regarding damages to tree and fence by L&R co.
To John Anderson regarding corrected assessment
From Ruekert & Mielke to EPA concerning grant-in-aid for oxidation
system
From EPA regarding increase in grant by $20,760.00 - total grant
$56,230.00
Water and well conditions in the Tess Corners area were discussed.
The penalty clause relating to Ohio Casulty Co. was discissed.
It was the decision of the committee to change the George Guhr assessment
on Durham Drive to the corner lot status.
• The Sewer Service Charge Ordinance was discussed. Ald. DeBack moved to
recommend to the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee to amend Ch. 3.10 of
the Municipal Code to $4.50 per unit per month or $13.50 per quarter
sewer service charge. Seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried.
Ald. DeBack moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Foldy. Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 11:00 P.M.
