Minutes of Meeting Held June 17, 1971
The Meeting was called to order at 7:05 P.M. Present were Mayor
Gottfried, Aldermen Foldy, DeBack and Schaumberg.
The minutes of the meeting held June 2, 1971 were reviewed and
placed on file.
The sewer assessment of the Ed Kumm property was discussed. The
Committee is awaiting a report from Building Inspector Lee.
Chet Kadow, S63 W12563 Emerson Drive presented a claim against
Rock Contractors for damage to culvert ends and approach in the
amount of $182.00. Referred to Rock Contractors.
Roland A. Rutzen, S65 W12480 Jo Court, claim against L&R Construc-
tion, auto damage amounting to $34.84. Referred to L&R Construction.
Loretta Yanny, 13187 West Janesville Road, claim against Rock
Contractors regarding removal of east and west lot stakes and five
• feet of sod. Referred to Project Engineer Gary Schaefer.
Charles Wallace, S65 W18402 Ruby Drive, correspondence concerning
road restoration. Referred to Reukert & Mielke.
Arline and Jerome Brad, S65 W18422 Ruby Drive, damage claim against
Michels Pipeline Construction Co., referred to Michels Pipeline.
Mr. I. Engler, S68 W12922 Bristlecone Lane, auto damage of $28.34,
referred to Rock Contractors.
Correspondence from City Engineer Clark Barry regarding sewer
inspectors was received and placed on file.
Received quotations from Allen Engineering Co. regarding lift
station warning system. Referred to Reukert and Mielke.
L&R Construction requested extension on contract MSS-8-70, action
deferred. Mayor Gottfried to correspond with L&R for final resto-
ration.
Arthur Luebke requested the waiving of sewer lateral installation
• for Lot 23, Blk 3 Fountainwood Add. #2, Tax Key #2161.133.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to approve the waiver. Seconded by Ald. Foldy,
the motion passed.
L&R Construction requested permission to employ Halliburton
Plumbing Co. to install 6" laterals on MSS-2-71. Ald. Schaumberg
moved for approval, seconded by Ald. Foldy. Motion passed.
Request from Michels Pipeline to use Apex Excavators as subcontrac-
tor for MSS-4,5 and 6-71. Ald. Schaumberg moved to approve. It was
seconded by Ald. Foldy and the motion passed.
Mr. John Anderson S63 W15687 College Ave., sewer assessment was
discussed. Mayor Gottfried will contact Reukert and Mielke regarding
this matter.

If necessary, a letter will be sent to all serviced areas in regard
to clear water hookups, sump pumps, etc.

Ald. DeBack removed to recommend acceptance of above deferrments
to Council for approval. Seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion passed.
Received correspondence from Attorney John Buckley concerning
approval of Wauer landfill.
