PWM19710204PUBLIC WELFARE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO • MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 4, 1971 Chairman Burgermeister called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. Also present were Aldermen Wollman and Dwyer and Building Inspector Lee. The minutes of the meeting held January 7, 1971, were approved and placed on file. iOne (1) Junk Car violation was reviewed and placed on file. Two (2) Zoning violations were reviewed and placed on file. Four (4) Sign violations were reviewed and placed on file. A letter dated January 29, 1971, from Building Inspector Lee directed Mr. Kenneth Kapelka, Principal of the Tess Corners Elementary School, regarding the problems with the water supply at the Tess Corners School, was read and placed on file. The Committee discussed the Dept. of Industrial Labor and Human Relations Inspector's Report and Orders, dated November 13, 1970, for the City Hall and Library. • The Committee decided to delay, for the present time, any large expend- itures for the City Hall and Library until the sub -committee, which is is working on the project for the construction of a new City Hall and Library, makes their recommendation to the Common Council. The following repair orders which require minor expenditures of monies and will make the City Hall and Library a safer place to work will be done: Items #5, 6, 13, 15, 16, 17, 19, 20 and 21. Chairman Burgermeister moved and Ald. Wollman seconded, to utilize the City's Janitorial and Public Works Dept. to complete the repairs. Ald. Wollman presented a request from Mrs. B. J. Salentine, W146 S6371 Tess Corners Dr., to have the Waukesha County Mobile Health Unit visit the City of Muskego. Ald. Burgermeister to communicate with Mrs. Fred Wienke, S64 W18943 School Drive, President of the Muskego Health Council. Ald. Wollman moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Dwyer. Motion carried.
