• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD ON DECEMBER 3, 1970
Chairman Burgermeister called the meeting to order at 6:55 P.M. Also
present were Aldermen Wollman and Dwyer.
The minutes of the meeting held on November 19, 1970, were approved
and placed on file.
OF Two (2) junk car violations were reviewed and placed on file.
Two (2) zoning violations were reviewed and placed on file.
A letter dated December 2, 1970, from Building Inspector Lee directed
to Mr. L. A. Fendryk, Attorney at Law, regarding an order to raze a
cottage located at S81 W16456 Kurtz Lane, (Gilbert Magerl property)
was read and placed on file.
A letter dated December 1, 1970, from Building Inspector Lee to City
Attorney Buckley requesting condemnation orders for a cottage located
at S74 W17676 Lake Drive was read and placed on file.
• A letter dated December 1, 1970, from Building Inspector Lee to Mr.
Peter MacAillo, 324 E. Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, regarding
the condemnation action on two cottages located at S104 W15430 Loomis
Drive, was read and placed on file.
A letter dated November 25, 1970, from Building Inspector Lee to City
Attorney Buckley regarding the installation of a water meter for the
Muskego Cleaners and Tailors, W179 S7656 Pioneer Drive, was referred
to the Sewer Committee by Chairman Burgermeister.
Mayor Gottfried, Ald. Narlock, Chairman of the Rules, Laws a Ordinance
Committee, and Ald. Foldy, joined the meeting at 7:15 P.M.
The members of the Public Welfare and Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committees
discussed at length, the contractual agreements the City has with the
Wauer family regarding the operation of the City Dump. Also, an ex-
tensive review of the City ordinance describing the operating practices
of a sanitary landfill site, was held. Chairman Burgermeister will
extend an invitation to members of the Wauer family to attend the next
meeting of the Public Welfare Committee on Thursday, December 17, 1970,
at 7:00 P.M. at City Hall, to have an informal discussion on the
present operation of the City Dump.
• Wollman moved to adjourn. Dwyer seconded. The meeting adjourned at
8:15 P.M.
