• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 20, 1970
The meeting was called to order at 7:15 P.M. Present were Chairman
Burgermeister, Mayor Gottfried, Aldermen Wollman and Foldy and Building
Inspector Lee.
The minutes of the meeting held on August 6, 1970, were reviewed and
placed on file.
One (1) Junk Car violation was read and placed on file.
One (1) Plumbing violation was read and placed on file.
Two (2) Zoning violations were read and placed on file.
Procedures and follow-up of condemnation were discussed and it was the
committee's opinion that once proceedings are commenced they should
be enforced.
Ald. Foldy appeared at the meeting regarding the committee's action
on purchase of lands in Ward I for park purposes. Ald. Burgermeister
• advised that as soon as the Park & Recreation Board held their budget
meeting on August 24th, and their monthly Board meeting on August 27th,
the Welfare Committee would receive the Park and Recreation Board's
Budget and the recommendation of purchase of park sights in Ward I.

Ald. Wollman moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister.
Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:05 P.M.
