• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 23, 1970
Chairman Burgermeister called the meeting to order at 7:20 P.M.
Also present were Aldermen Dwyer, Wollman, Building Inspector Lee
and Mayor Gottfried.
The minutes of the meeting held July 9, 1970, were reviewed and
• placed on file.
Eight (8) Zoning violations were reviewed and placed on file.
Two (2) Junk Car violations were reviewed and placed on file.
One (1) Plumbing Code violation was reviewed and placed on file.
A letter from Building Inspector Lee, dated July 22, 1970, to Fire
Chiefs Ludwig and Utpatel identifying the need for fire prevention
zoning regulations for multiple residences and complexes was reviewed
and placed on file.
A notice of a public hearing before the State of Wisconsin Dept. of
• Natural Resources regarding the adoption of rules regulating, con-
trolling, or prohibiting the discharge of mercury to the waters of
the State of Wisconsin, was reviewed. Ald. Burgermeister moved that
this notice be forwarded to the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee.
Seconded by Ald. Dwyer. Motion carried.
An order of the Department of Agriculture adopting rules for scales -
Chapter AG 120- was reviewed. Ald. Burgermeister moved that this
order be forwarded to the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee. Seconded
by Ald. Wollman. Motion carried.
The study of the Waukesha County Court versus Muskego Municipal Court
was reviewed and placed on file.
Regulations for burning trash for other municipalities were reviewed and
placed on file. The committee is of the opinion that the present city
Ordinance 9.22 (4) Regulation for Burning Trash, is more stringent and
enforceable than any of the regulations that were reviewed.
A letter to S.T.O.P. Program, Madison, Wisconsin, dated July 15, 1970,
from Mr. R. L. Armentrout, regarding the foul odors emanating from
the Muskego Rendering Company, S81 W21392 Wauer Lane was reviewed and
• placed on file. Members of the Committee agreed to patrol this area
to audit the area for zoning violations.
Ald. Dwyer moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Ald. Wollman.
Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:25 P.M.
