PWM19691008PUBLIC WELFARE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO • MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 8, 1969 The meeting was called to order by Ch. Wollman. Also present were Aldermen Burgermeister, O'Connell and Sapp.and Building Inspector Lee. The minutes of meeting held on September 17, 1969 were approved and J6 placed on file. A letter dated September 26, 1969, from the State Dept. of Health was received and referred to the Building Inspector for possible action and comments. A new and additional useage of property of Viola Kurtze on Kurtze Lane was brought up by Building Inspector Lee and it was the Committee's opinion, to view the side before making a decision. Building Inspector Lee requested that the Committee view a problem on Lentini Drive on the J. Meadow property regarding a blacktop driveway. The Committee and Mr. Lee will inspect the property on October 11, 1969. • Mrs. Jean Sanders, President of the Women's Club, appeared -at -the meeting to report that,the Club intended to plant shrubbery around the City Entrance Signs, and she also requested that the City consider installing some type of lights to illuminate the area. She also advised the Committee that permission had been obtained from the property owners to plant such shrubbery. Her request for lighting was deferred to the Public Safety Committee for action. Ald. Burgermeister moved to have the Plumbing Inspector enforce the hook-up of a sewer at the Sam Jones property on Racine Avenue due to previous reports and a health hazard. Seconded by Ald.
