PWM19690604PUBLIC WELFARE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 4, 1969 at 7:P.M. • The meeting was called to order by Chairman Wollman. Also present were Aldermen Cooley, Burgermeister, Sapp and Building Inspector Lee. The minutes of the previous meeting held on May 21, 1969 were reviewed and placed on file. The hours of the city dump were discussed and it was confirmed by Mr. Wauer that the hours the dump would be open as stated s in the contract. A letter dated May 26, 1969, from the Department of Natural Resources was read, discussed and placed on file. A letter dated June 3, 1969 from the same Department was also read, discussed and placed on file. Mr. Lee is to follow up on getting the appropriate references referred to in letter of June 3rd in regard to air pollution, etc. Seven (7) junk car violations were read and placed on file. Ald. Burgermeister advised that the situation still exists on the Altman property on Muskego Drive and requested that the Building Inspector follow up with the City Attorney in cleaning up the yard • of debris, weeds and also improving the yard with the leveling of the dirt that is piling up. The need of an industrial park, cost to the city and projected plans of the City Planner were discussed. Ald. Burgermeister moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Ald. Cooley, motion carried.
