PUBLIC WELFARE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD May 21, 1969
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 P.M.
Present were Chairman Wollma.n, Aldermen Burgermeister, Cooley and
Sapp and Building Inspector Lee.
• Minutes of meeting held 5/7/69 were approved and placed on file.

Two (2) Junk car violations were read and placed on file.
Bldg. Inspector Lee requested the Committee to view properties with
him regarding possible condemnation. The date set was June 7, 1969
to view properties on Lake Drive, Priegel Dr. and Schubring Drive.
Mrs. Sylvester Ksobiech, W207 S8144 Hillendale Dr., appeared as
spokesman for a group of citizens that are in opposition to the
operation of the Wauer Dump and Wauer Rendering Plant due to un-
pleasant odors and appearances of the dump and buildings. Many
view points were brought to the committee's attention regarding
the dump and rendering plant operation.
Attorney Clayton Cramer appeared in behalf of the Wauer Co. explaining
the operation of both the dump and the rendering plant and its in-
spections by the State Department regarding the licenses necessary
to operate either the dump or the rendering plant.
It is the Committee's recommendation to the Council to further study
and continue to view the dumping violations that are possibly
occurring and to have the City Attorney investigate the State
Statutes regarding the operation of the rendering plant.
Ald. Burgermeister moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Ald.
Cooley. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:00 P.M.
