PWM19680715• PUBLIC WELFARE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 15, 1968 The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. Present were Chairman Wollman, Aldermen Cooley and Burgermeister and Building Inspector Lee. Minutes of meeting held July 1, 1968 were approved as read and placed on file. Inspector Lee requested that the Welfare Committee view property at 5104 W15430 Loomis Dr. with possible consideration of condemnation. Chairman Wollman suggested that the Welfare Committee would view various sites within the city which are in violation of city Zoning laws. It was agreed by the Committee that they would do so prior to the next Committee meeting. It was reported by Building Inspector Lee that there are a few lots that have existing holes as a result of excavations for basements for homes that were never built. • It was reported to Committee that there is a site at the corner of Lannon and Lake Drive where a house had been burned for Fire Dept. practice and the debris is not cleaned up. Committee to investigate. • Two (2) Zoning violations were read and placed on file. Ald. Burgermeister reported to the Committee of weeds and brush growing on a vacant lot at the corner of Lake and Wildwood. Inspector Lee advised that he would verify ownership of this lot and order owner to clean up same. Chairman Wollman reported to the Committee that Mr. William Dougherty of S68 W15697 College Ave. had filed a Claim for the loss of (1) sheep and injury of (3) other sheep by stray dogs. It was agreed that Committee go on record that reimbursement be awarded to owner for loss of said sheep. Ald. Burgermeister moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Cooley.
