MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 13 1968
The meeting was called to order at 7:23 P.M.
Present were Chairman Wollman, Aldermen Cooley and Burgermeister.
Also present were Mayor Wieselmann, Alderman Linck and Mr. Gottfried.
The Minutes of the meeting held on June 19, 1968, were read and placed
on file.
Six (6) Zoning violations were read and placed on file.
Letter from Building Inspector Lee to County Highway Dept. with
reference to drainage problems off Racine Ave. to south of Hi-Y
Drive was read and placed on file.
Letter from County Health and Sanitation with reference to conditions
of water surrounding Idle Isle was read and discussed.
Alderman Cooley moved that the Finance Committee therefore reconsider
• the issuance of a Swimming Permit to Idle Isle. Seconded by Ald.
Wollman, motion carried.
Letter from County Health and Sanitation with reference to Wauer
Refuse Disposal site was read and discussed.
Ald. Cooley moved that the Finance Committee consider the lease of
this disposal site by the City under which the City would furnish
all labor and equipment to operate disposal site. Seconded by Ald.
Wollman. Motion carried.
It was suggested by Chairman Wollman that the Plan Commission be
advised of the general location of the official City entrance signs
on Highway 24. Ald. Burgermeister is to contact the Recording Secretary
of the Plan Commission so they will be informed.
Ald. Cooley moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Ald. Wollman,
motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:26 P.M.
