MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 19, 1968
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 P.M.
. Present were Chairman Wollman, Aldermen Cooley and Burgermeister. Police
Chief Kraus and Mr. Gottfried were also present.
The Minutes of the meeting held June 5, 1968 were read and placed on file.
Five (5) Zoning violations were read and placed on file.
Ald. Burgermeister reported that the swimming areas of the municipal
parks were not properly marked with buoys, and was referred to the
Safety Committee for action after approval for placement of buoys by
Mr. Schroeder, Game Warden for the Muskego area.
Police report survey on "No Parking" signs on Muskego Drive was discussed.
Chairman Wollman moved, seconded by Ald. Cooley to refer to the Safety
• Committee for action, by having the Public Works Dept. install said
signs as soon as possible. Motion carried.
Contract for useage by City Police Dept. of the Wauer Gravel Pit area
was discussed and was referred to the Finance Committee for action.
Ald. Burgermeister reported from the Park and Recreation that they
have not and are not to go on record that they approve of the purchase
of Idle Isle property as a City Park until further study has been
accomplished by the Board.
Chairman Wollman moved, seconded by Ald. Cooley, that the Park and
Recreation Board's Rules and Regulations of City Parks be placed in
the form of a resolution for approval by the Common Council, motion
carried. The following correction will be made: In Rule 1, the times of
occupation will be changed to read 7:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M.
Chairman Wollman moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Cooley. The meeting
adjourned at 8:20 P.M.
