MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 8, 1967
The meeting was called to order by Acting Chairman Lentini at 4:00 P.M.
Present were Alderman Lentini, Alderman Budish and Mayor Gottfried.
A report on weed cutting by the Highway Department was presented
to the Committee. The total cost to the individual lot owners was
r $854.00. This will be reflected on the individual tax bills.
A bill for the month of June for $55.47 was received from the
Waukesha County Department of Public Welfare. Alderman Budish
moved to recommend payment of the bill for $55.47. Seconded by
Alderman Lentini. Motion carried.
A report was received from the State of Wisconsin Dept. of Agriculture
Food Division for the year 1967. The cost to the City is $600.00 for
this service. The present agreement is self -renewing for succeeding
fiscal year periods. This agreement may be terminated at the end of
any fiscal year by either party giving notice to the other party at
least 60 days prior to July 1. Alderman Lentini moved to recommend
to renew the contract for 1968 for $600.00. Alderman Budish seconded
the motion. Motion carried.
Attention was brought to the Committee by Inspector Lee of eight new
zoning violations which consist of junked cars parked in residential
areas.
Several letters were received from Building Inspector Lee in regard
to condemnation orders and notices to individuals of buildings that
should be razed in the near future.
Alderman Budish moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Alderman
Lentini. The meeting adjourned at 5:00 P.M.
