• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 31 1967
Chairman Wieselmann called the meeting to order at 4:30 P.M.
Present were Chairman Wieselmann, Alderman Lentini, Alderman Budish
and Mayor Gottfried.
• Building Inspector Lee appeared before the Committee in regard to
condemned cottaged. The discussion was centered on four cottages
recently condemned on the Viola Kurtze property on Bass Bay. The
Committee will view the structures in question.
A list of seven, inspections made recently to business places was
received by the Committee. They are as follows:
Eugene R. Pankowski
Emil Subotich
Bill and Lorraine Schubel
Howard Schultz
Eva Petroviak
Leonard Wanasek
Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Weber
Inspector Lee reported two new violations of parking of junked cars.
• The owners have been given notice to remove them. A notice was also
given to Mr. Gilbert Reinke concerning rubbish that should be removed
from his property.
Alderman Budish moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Alderman
Lentini. The meeting adjourned at 5:15 P.M.

PUBLIC WELFARE COMMITTEE
After adjourning the meeting, the Welfare Committee, together with
Mayor Gottfried and Inspector Lee, motored to Kurtze Lane to view
the buildings in question. It was the consensus of the Committee
to uphold the Building Inspector's action on the condemnation of
the four buildings he had recently tagged.
Later the Committee reconvened and Alderman Wieselmann moved to have
the Building Inspector follow through on the condemnation of the four
cottages on Kurtze Lane owned by Viola Kurtze and the Building
Inspector should send notification of same to owner. The motion was
seconded by Alderman Budish. Motion carried unanimously.
