PWM19661102PUBLIC WELFARE COMMITTEE
• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 2, 1966
Chairman Wieselmann called the meeting to order at 4:30 P.M. Also
present were Alderman Lentini, Alderman Budish and Mayor Gottfried.
Building Inspector Lee attended the meeting with Mr. Gerald Faber
to discuss a problem that he and some of his neighbors have with
septic systems that are connected to one leach bed which is located
` on City property. The property involved is a strip of land that
has been designated for road purposes. The Committee felt that a
recommendation should be made to the Council to grant an easement
to the property owners involved.
One new welfare case was received by the Committee.
Alderman Wieselmann reported that the County Welfare Group has voted
to have the County handle the welfare cases rather than continue the
present County Welfare Group. However, the group has indicated that
they would continue to serve as a group until such time that it would
not be feasible to do so.
Alderman Lentini
moved to
adjourn the
meeting, seconded by Alderman
is
Wieselmann. The
meeting
adjourned at
5:15 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
Edmund A. Budish, Sec'y.
