• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 5., 1966
Mayor Gottfried was named Acting Secretary. Also present were
Chairman Wieselmann and Alderman Lentini.
Mrs. Jean Sanders appeared before the Committee representing the
Park and Recreation Board.
The Budget of the 'Park and Recreation Board was reviewed. The
Budget, as presented, amounted to $61,293.00. Considerable discussion
was held on that portion of the budget relating to improvements,
Park equipment and Park maintenance equipment.
Alderman Lentini
moved
that it be
recommended to the Finance Committee
to delete the following

Motion was seconded by Alderman Wieselmann and it carried.
Three zoning ordinance violations were reported by Building Inspector
Lee. Report placed on file.
Communication from Building Inspector Lee regarding the flagrant
violation of the Cityls Burning Ordinance - it was his recommendation
that some other law enforcement agency be responsible for policing
this ordinance. It was the decision of the Welfare Committee that
the Building Inspector continue to investigate complaints regarding
this matter and take whatever action is needed to enforce the
ordinance until a police department is established.
A communication from the Waukesha County Group Department of Public
Welfare was read. Since a recommendation will be needed from the
Council regarding this matter a copy of the communication will be
made available to all aldermen. Alderman Wieselmann will bring the
matter before the Council on October 11, 1966.
Alderman Lentini moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Alderman
Wieselmann. The meeting adjourned at 5:30 P.M.
