The rendering plant had been taking care of this • problem, but now have no one available to do so. In other instances, the Highway Su.perintendant will be informed and he may designate one of his crew to remove and dispose of same. The Committee shall also contact Mr. Kelly and ascertain whether he would be interested and willing to undertake a portion of this problem. REPORT OF NEW WELFARE CASES received and placed on file. WAUKESHA COUNTY HEALTH DEPT.: The fourth Annual Report of the Waukesha County Health Dept. was received. Same to be left on the Mayor's desk should anyone desire to review it. PARK AND RECREATION BOARD: The Board requests permission from the Welfare Committee to insert a flyer within the next issue of the City Newsletter relative to the formation of a Park Board Band. Upon motion duly made and carried at their last meeting, the Board instructed Alderman DeAngelis to request the sum of $41000 from their next year's budget, whereas they can immediately, start repairs on the building at Jewel Crest. The Board feels that better bids can be obtained. at this time of year --that this activity and work will curb vandalism --that the building should be heated to preserve it --and, foremost, that once their budget is allocated they can continue after the first of the year and complete the job in time for the spring programs. Alderman DeAngelis moved that the Welfare Committee approve the request of the Park and Recreation Board and recommend to the Council the approval of the transfer of $4,000 from the General Fund to the Park and Recreation Board Fund for the purpose of beginning repairs to the Jewel Crest Recreation Building. Alderman Budish seconded the motion. Motion carried. • There being no further business, Alderman Budish moved to adjourn. Alderman Hudziak seconded the motion. Motion carried.
